Sam Burrows is the Head of Application Integration Services at EIT. In her role, she focuses on designing and implementing industry-leading, enterprise-wide application solutions that lay the foundation for the institute, enabling the AI and Innovation teams.

Previously, Sam has worked across various industries, leading technology and delivery teams. She has headed up technology delivery for a leading airline, led the technology teams at a world-renowned cruise line, driven transformation at a major sports broadcaster, and delivered results systems for three Commonwealth Games, as well as the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

With a strong focus on equality and equity, Sam is passionate about encouraging more people to work across STEM fields.

Sam’s real passion is sport. She has been rowing since she was 16 years old, winning National Titles and World Masters. Her enthusiasm for the sport extends beyond rowing to coxing for the Molesey Masters men's team.When not racing on the global stage, Sam can be found spending time with her family and enjoying her other passion: music.
