Peter Anderson is the Senior Director of Business Operations at EIT. He is responsible for managing the implementation of the infrastructure needed to support EIT, including Information Technology and Project Management, and supports the Human Resources, Finance and Property teams with strategy and policy implementation. Peter reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining EIT in August 2024, Peter spent 10 years as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the Rhodes Trust, where he oversaw the management of the finances of the Trust including the £500m endowment, as well as HR, IT, commercial events and the Trust’s £40m construction project.

He previously worked for 25 years in accountancy and legal training in a combination of teaching, business development and leadership roles.

Peter qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990, and holds level 2 (distinction) and 3 (merit) qualifications from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.

Peter also holds an MA in Classics from the University of Oxford and is a keen cyclist.
