Engagement Executive

Molly Steadman

Molly is the Engagement Executive for the Pathogen Program at EIT, responsible for mapping the market and key stakeholders, expanding the platform user base, nurturing relationships with customers and supporting on the sales process.

Molly brings experience from biotech R&D, partnerships and relationship management. She has held roles in university Knowledge Exchange, where she facilitated collaborations of life sciences academics with external partners through funded research and patent licensing. At a metagenomics startup, she identified new markets and customer requirements for their technology, cultivated customer relationships, and led bespoke project deliveries. She is currently undertaking a training fellowship in technology transfer.

Molly holds a PhD in Synthetic Biology from Imperial College London, where she engineered an industrial bacterial species to improve its growth on waste feedstocks. During her PhD, she also completed placements in market research at a biotech startup and as an analyst at a venture capital firm.

Outside of work Molly enjoys outdoor sports, cooking and textile crafts.
