Maren leads the applied ML team at the AI & Robotics Institute at EIT, where she accelerates programs through the design of AI strategy and implementation of state-of-the-art methodologies. Her focus is on maximising programme impact from data and AI capabilities.

Before joining EIT, Maren served as Senior Director of Data Science and Associate Partner at QuantumBlack/McKinsey, where she drove innovation, scalability and robustness in Life Sciences R&D. She partnered with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to accelerate drug discovery and optimise clinical trials using the latest ML approaches. Additionally, she led innovation in ScientificAI and directed product teams to build reusable components that accelerated delivery timelines and enabled continuous learning.

Outside work, Maren enjoys participating in triathlons, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
