Kadir is a Senior Data Engineer for the Pathogen Program at EIT. In his role, he is focused on building and implementing scalable data pipelines for genomic analysis in support of EIT's mission to revolutionise pathogen detection.

Previously, Kadir worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at a Dubai-based luxury e-commerce startup, where he helped build the marketplace portal solution from the ground up that automated manual processes, integrated with different vendors and apis, simplified the management burden with a focus on scalability, usability and fault resilience.

A Node.js enthusiast, Kadir is passionate about building sustainable solutions, automation, software security and delivering high quality code.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, taking long walks and reading the works of Asimov, all fuelled by his love for coffee.
