Deborah Braun is a Business Partnerships Manager for the Pathogen Program at EIT.

Deborah plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the Program through supporting R&D teams to reach an integrated vision and enabling collaborations.

Prior to joining EIT, Deborah worked at bioMérieux, a leading invitro diagnostics company leader in the field of infectious disease. During her 18 years at bioMérieux, she held several positions from project manager to senior program and portfolio director in different areas (oncology, biomarkers, theranostics, nutrition for health as well as sequencing), developing diagnostic products including reagents, systems and software. She has managed both teams of project managers and scientists and has led several key partnerships for the company.

After completing her PhD in Immunology from Université Paris VI and Ecole Normale Supérieure deLyon, Deborah has worked in academics for a few additional years, in Canada and at the Pasteur Institute in Paris before joining bioMérieux. She has also been teaching Project management at Grenoble Alps University for the last few years.

Deborah is a very active person, enjoying many indoors as well as outdoors activities, from cooking to teaching children how to ski.
