David Lyon is a Program Manager within the Economics Department. In his role, he maximises tangible impact from programs; he supports them from inception to delivery and completion, working collaboratively across EIT.

Previously, David worked across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America with corporations, NGOs, governments, start-ups and research institutions. His work focused on commercial models to scale impact. This included management of food and agriculture value chains, nature-based solutions, building resilience to climate change, developing technologies to reduce resource use or pollution and broader social development.

He has a BA in Biological Sciences from Oxford University and MSc in Environmental Studies from Yale University.

Outside work, David enjoys mountain sports, tennis, piano playing, woodland management and spending time with his extended family.
