Anne Waters is the HR & Training Specialist for EIT. In her role she is responsible for managing essential HR functions and coordinating employee training and development initiatives. Anne has a keen focus on the employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding to employee development. Her experience working across diverse cultural contexts has given her a deep understanding of cross-cultural communication to support staff development whilst promoting organisational success.

Over the past 20 years Anne has developed a strong foundation in business and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders. She moved into the Human Resources field in the 3 years prior to joining EIT and has over 5+ years’ experience in training and development prior to that.

Anne holds an MA in Japanese from the University of Edinburgh and a CIPD Level 3 Diploma in HR. In addition, she has undertaken additional training in leadership development, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution. Anne is also a qualified mental health first aider.

Outside of work, Anne is a keen rock climber, hiker, and avid reader. She enjoys running, loves mountains and exploring the world with her family.
